1. How would you describe your role and responsibilities at 4G Clinical to someone who is not familiar with your work?
As the Country Director for Japan, my main responsibility is to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients in Japan and throughout the APAC region. Additionally, I support various departments, such as HR, Finance, and Facility, which may not have a presence in Japan. Ensuring that the office complies with all government regulations is also a key part of my role. In addition to these duties, I support market and commercial activities in Japan and work to ensure the quality of all studies conducted in the country.
2. What do you enjoy most about your job at 4G Clinical?
As the first employee of 4G Clinical in Japan/APAC and the Client Services Lead, I played a crucial role in setting up the company in the region. My responsibilities included building studies, transitioning them to the production environment, and maintaining them. In the four years since I joined the company, it has experienced tremendous growth, with the number of employees in Japan rising to over 30. I am excited to be a part of this dynamic, rapidly growing company and enjoy the challenge of adapting to constant changes and improvements in systems and organizations.
3. What do you love most about the culture at 4G Clinical that makes it a great place to work?
One of the things I appreciate most about the culture at 4G Clinical is the kindness and consideration shown to everyone. No matter who you are or what your question may be, you can count on being treated with respect and receiving a helpful response, even if the person you ask isn't directly involved in the matter at hand. I am proud to work in an environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their race, gender, or age. This type of inclusive culture is essential for building a strong and collaborative team.
4. What advice would you offer to someone who is considering applying for a job at 4G Clinical?
4G Clinical is an excellent company for individuals who thrive on new challenges and opportunities for growth. The market for our products and services is continually expanding, and I believe that the company has a bright future ahead. One of the great things about 4G Clinical is that there are often job openings within the company, so it's possible to take on new roles and explore different departments even after you've been with the company for a while. I'm excited to be a part of 4G Clinical's journey and see where it takes us in the future.
