Benjamin Etschmann, Senior Forecasting Services Lead
1. How would you describe your role and responsibilities at 4G Clinical to someone who is not familiar with your work?
As Senior Forecasting Services Lead I am responsible for supporting both internal RTSM Delivery and Support teams and clients as they work with Prancer RTSM®'s unique unpredictable demand forecasting logic. For this purpose, I work closely with RTSM setup teams to identify and implement the optimal forecasting strategy and with Support teams to ensure the forecasting logic remains consistently aligned with the evolving study needs. I also participate in organizational change processes to further improve how forecasting and resupply are implemented and maintained. In addition, I collaborate with our product development team to ensure the forecasting logic in Prancer RTSM® keeps pace with current trends in clinical trials.
2. What do you enjoy most about your job at 4G Clinical?
What I enjoy most is collaborating with internal and client teams to leverage the unique and sophisticated Prancer RTSM® forecasting logic to identify, implement and maintain the best possible forecasting strategy for each trial and thereby contribute to the success and efficiency of the clinical trials 4G supports. In addition, I enjoy questioning the status quo in everything we do to make sure we are continuously endeavoring to offer the best product and use the best implementation and maintenance processes.
3. What do you love most about the culture at 4G Clinical that makes it a great place to work?
4G is a great place to work because it brings together a team with a unique mix of backgrounds and cultures in a company culture of wanting to do things better. In addition, an open communication mentality is fostered which makes it easy to address topics even when they are critical. 4G is also a place where innovations are welcomed, which leads to continuous improvement of technology and process and thus helps teams to increase their efficiency and focus on work which adds value.
4. What advice would you offer to someone who is considering applying for a job at 4G Clinical?
The sophisticated forecasting logic in Prancer RTSM® is challenging, but extremely powerful and versatile. Therefore, I would recommend 4G to those excited about taking on the challenge of mastering this logic to work with one of the most innovative RTSM platforms on the market. In addition, I would highlight 4G's innovative company culture with the aim of improving every aspect in the way we work.
