Privacy Principles

Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy") explains how we collect, store, use, and disclose your Personal Information (defined below) when you visit or use this website (www.4gclinical.com), other services and/or use the products offered by 4G Clinical (together the ”Services”).

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, Personal Information includes any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly with a particular individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, email address, a home, postal or other physical address, an IP address, and phone number (“Personal Information”). It also explains your rights in relation to that information.

Please review this Privacy Policy to learn more about how we collect, store and use the Personal Information that we have obtained. By using this website, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or concerns about the Services or if you would like to find out more about how we collect, store, use, and disclose your Personal Information, please email us at privacy@4gclinical.com.

Personal Information We Collect.

Depending on the nature of your interactions with 4G Clinical, you may provide us with certain types of personal information, including:

  1. Information You Directly and Voluntarily Provide to Us.

    4G Clinical collects any information that you provide to us when you use the Services. While you can visit most pages on our website without giving us any information about yourself (i.e., name, email address, phone number, fax number, and contact information), there are instances where you can choose to provide us with your Personal Information. If you are a visitor to the website, we may collect information that you provide to us when you communicate with any of our departments, such as customer Services, or sign up to receive more information from us, such as when you request access to one of our white papers. This information typically includes your name, email address, company, mailing address, and phone number. You may also choose to provide your email address to us if you would like to receive additional information about the Services and the products and Services that 4G Clinical offers or a username and password if you choose to set up a 4G Clinical Help Center Account. You may also provide us with certain employment information in connection with an application for employment with 4G Clinical in the “Careers” section of 4G Clinical’s website.

    Information Automatically Collected Through the Services. We may automatically collect information about you when you use the Services. For example, if you access the Services through a computer, we will automatically collect information such as your browser type and version, computer and connection information, IP address and standard web log information.

  2. Surveys.

    From time to time 4G Clinical may ask users of our products to participate in a survey. These surveys will help us to understand how you experience our products. The surveys are anonymous and will not collect any personal information about you unless you choose to provide us with your contact details. It may also be possible to identify you from your responses to demographic questions within the survey. In these situations, under data protection laws such as GDPR, we are required to provide you with Privacy Information about how we will treat the information that you provide to us (see further below).

    With regard to Surveys, 4G Clinical is a data controller of the information that we collect from you. We will use your information to improve our products (for example improve our user interface) which is in our legitimate interests. We will not use this information for any other purpose. We will delete your information after two weeks.

    We might collect the information through third party service providers, who are our data processors for this. They might use subprocessors. We will not share your information with anyone else without informing you.

  3. Cookies.

    We may automatically collect information from you when you use the Services using “cookies” and other similar technologies, such as web beacons. A “cookie” is a small text file that websites send to a visitor’s computer or other internet-connected device to identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. A “web beacon,” also known as an internet tag, pixel tag or clear GIF, links web pages to web servers and their cookies and may be used to transmit information collected through cookies back to a web server.

    Information that may be collected by cookies when you use the Services may include, without limitation:

    • the pages you visit within the Services;
    • the date and time of your visit to the Services;
    • the amount of time you spend using the Services;
    • the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet;
    • your log-ins to the 4G Clinical Help Center; and/or
    • your computer and connection information such as your browser type and version, operating system and platform.

    Using cookies as described above helps us improve the functionality of our website and enhances your experience when using it. You can set your browser to reject cookies or to notify you when you are sent a cookie. However, if you disable cookies you may not be able to use certain features of the Services. To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your device and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org. By using our website, you consent to our use of cookies as described above. Please note that non-4G Clinical websites you are directed to from our website may have their own cookie policies.

  4. Information Collected by Third Parties through Third Party Links and Content.

    The Services may include links to other websites and other content from third party businesses. These third party businesses may use cookies, web beacons or other similar technology to collect information about you. 4G Clinical does not have access to or control over these third parties or the cookies, web beacons or other technology that these third parties may use. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties or the content on any third party website. You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of the different websites you visit and of the advertisers whose ads you may choose to click while on our Services.

  5. Information Collected by Third Party Analytics Services.

    We may work with third party analytics services to help us understand how the Services is being used, such as tracking the frequency and duration of use of the Services. We may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”), and HubSpot Analytics, a web analytics service provided by HubSpot, to collect information about your use of the Services. These analytics services may use cookies to collect information about the content you view, what websites you visit immediately prior to and after visiting the Services, and your system information and geographic information. The information generated by these cookies about your use of the Services will be transmitted to and stored by the applicable analytics services. The information collected by these analytics services allows us to analyze your use of the Services.

  6. Information You Share on Third Party Websites or through Social Media Services.

    The Services may include links to third party websites and social media services where you will be able to post comments, stories, reviews or other information. Your use of these third party websites and social media services may result in the collection or sharing of information about you by these third party websites and social media services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings on the third party websites and social media services with which you interact to make sure you understand the information that may be collected, used, and shared by those third party websites and social media services.

  7. Information You Post on the Service.

    If you post information on public areas of the Services that information may be collected and used by 4G Clinical, other users of the Services, and the public generally. We strongly recommend that you do not post any information through the Services that allows strangers to identify or locate you or that you otherwise do not want to share with the public.

How 4G Clinical Uses the Information We Collect.

4G Clinical does not sell Personal Information it collects from users of the Services. Rather, we use the information we collect and receive from you to provide you with requested Services, to communicate with you, and to fulfill your specific requests. For example, if you send us an email requesting information about 4G Clinical, we will use your email address and other information you send us to respond to your request. If you sign up to receive emails from us, we may email you about products and Services that we believe may be of interest to you. We use the information we gather through the Services to help us better understand how the Services are being used. By identifying patterns and trends in usage, we are able to better design the Services to improve your experience.

4G Clinical and third party businesses may use the information collected through the Services using cookies, web beacons, and other similar technologies to help manage online advertising programs. This information may enable us, as well as third-party advertising services and other third-party businesses, to track the actions of users online over time and across different web sites or platforms to measure statistics relating to marketing efforts, and to deliver electronic advertisements that may be more relevant to individual consumers and that will improve the consumer experience. For information about how tracking works for online advertising purposes, and what happens when you elect a do-not-track option, visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices. In addition, some third party businesses may provide a mechanism to opt-out of their technology. For more information about the opt-out process, you may visit the Network Advertising Initiative website, available at: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp. Your browser may allow you to adjust your browser settings so that “do not track” requests are sent to the websites that you visit. However, 4G Clinical will not disable tracking technology that may be active on the Services in response to any “do not track” requests that we receive from your browser.

Your Personal Information is not used for other purposes, unless we obtain your permission, or unless otherwise required or permitted by law or professional standards. Our goal is to collect and use only that information that we think is necessary for our legitimate business interests.
