Regional Business Development Lead - West Coast

4G Clinical, a cutting-edge Randomization and Trial Supply Management company, has an opening for a full-time Regional Business Development Lead on the West Coast. Candidates must be self-motivated, professional, confident, flexible, and results-driven. 

The primary responsibilities of the Regional Business Development lead include:

  • Generating new leads and prospects in assigned geographic market/area (West Coast)
  • Working closely with management to develop and implement sales strategy 
  • Developing and managing new and existing client relationships
  • Identifying and following up on sales opportunities
  • Prospecting: making and following up on sales calls
  • Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline to meet objectives
  • Managing any leads through internet, email or phone within defined territory 
  • Representing the Company at trade shows/exhibitions
  • Assisting VP of Global Business Development and CCO with client contract negotiations when applicable
  • Establishing and maintaining industry and client contacts for continuing good relations and business opportunity development
  • Developing and maintaining client profiles including updating contacts management system
  • Maximizing market penetration by ensuring ongoing understanding of 4G Clinical's services, services offered by competitors, and market/industry trends

Additional responsibilities:

  • Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental process
  • Maintaining technical knowledge by attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training 
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of industry trends and applicable technology 

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/CRO/medical sales experience is idea; comparable combination of education and experience may be considered 
  • Previous experience selling 4G Clinical or competitive products is a plus
  • Contract negotiation experiences a must
  • Must be proficient and effective in prospecting and cold-calling
  • Must be able to create, grow, and maintain a large group of contacts in the Pharma space
  • Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry a plus

The candidate must also possess a Bachelor's Degree; sales/business development training; ability to work independently or in a team setting; ability to adjust to changing priorities; strong presentation and negotiation skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; and ability to project and maintain a professional and positive attitude.
